Because it has the vast development resources of well the world it is constantly being updated and fixed. nothing Firefox can’t do with a little help from the world.
3. It’s not made by Microsoft.
This one’s pretty obvious. Microsoft makes everything. When you make everything inevitably most of your products will turn out like garbage. IE is no exception.
4. Its secure.
5. Performance.
Firefox runs with less of your computer’s memory thanks to a new rendering engine that keeps the CPU usage to a minimum while delivering top not performance.
6. The URL bar.
A.K.A the “Awesome Bar”. The upgrades to the bar include remembering pages you went to not just based off the first letter of the URL but any letter. It makes navigating around the net a breeze.
7. Tabbed Browsing.
Yes, all browsers have tabs now. Firefox invented the tabbed browsing experience and therefore have perfected it. You can undo an accidentally closed tab, drag and drop tabs to rearrange them in whatever order you want, or just have like 20 open at once just because you want to. nothing Firefox can’t do with a little help from the world.
8. Built in Search
The built in search box on the upper right corner is fantastic. It offers suggestions to what you are typing as well as gives you the option of searching a wide range of websites right from the box.
9. Popup Blocker.
Yes, every browser has this. Every browser must have this. But something about the effectiveness of never ever seeing pop-ups in Firefox is amazing. Yes you might lose out on the free Orbitz games but who cares, they’re annoying.
10. The download manager.
A great, easy way to manage your downloads. After all isn’t downloading things what the internet was made for?
