Yes, again, I realize this has nothing to do with social media but as my friends will tell you, I'm pretty into myself and want to make sure everyone is paying attention to Garrett Scott. With that said I thought I would fill you in on the latest round on weigh-ins. This week was extremely close. After a poor week for me in the previous week, I was able to step up my game and hit the gym with reckless abandon. Hitting the gym 6 of the 7 days I was able to drop an astounding 7 lbs. I was ecstactic, what a way to start a Friday then by finding out that news. Now with the way that our contest is set up we don't find out the results of the week until noon or later. So needless to say the anticipation was killing me.

Around 11:45 my blackberry lit up with the email I was waiting for. I was in the lead. The competition couldn't be closer though. Just has it for nearly the entire race myself and fellow competitor "T" have been neck and neck battling for the lead. This week I am number 1 but by only .1%, 9.71% to 9.59% lost. Thats right, the battle for $1,200 is down to less then 1 pound. With 6 weigh-ins left I need to keep the pressure on. If I am going to win this thing I'm going to have to keep working my tail off and lose another 25 or so pounds. The consensus amongst the competitors that nothing less that 16 or 17% will win.

Keep you posted.
